Hey it's really good to see you today, thanks for stopping by. Today's message is one that is very important to me. Know matter who you are and where you stand on the ceremony of prayer this should be informative. Lord Willing your life will be on the verge
of change and changing for the good. So, strap in and open up your mind, let's go.
" Prayer" A petition, an appeal or praise that is addressed to God. Jesus taught his disciples how to get a prayer through. The best example is from the Word of God and it's known as " The Lord's Prayer " which can be found in Matthew 6:9. Before I pray for me and mine and all on my daily prayer listings. I ask the Lord to please forgive me for any thoughts, deeds and actions that may have made Him turn His head away. It's my desire to be clean before the Lord and that increases my Faith. The same goes when I'm praying and laying hands on you, I believe that we both must be clean before the Lord Jesus Christ.
Can you get a prayer through or are your prayers just hitting the ceiling and falling back down again? Can you get Supernatural Intervention when needed? Our accent in prayer should be on God's Will, not our Will. When we are in correspondence with the Father,
we shouldn't demand what we want; rather discuss with him what he wants for us. It's high time that we get this concept, it's not about us, remember His Will be Done. If we align our prayers, to the Fathers Will, I believe that
his attention will be upon us and he will listen; and folks we can be certain that if he listens, he will give us a definite answer. So, start praying with confidence! I also belive that as Christians we are to excercise sagacity in
prayer. Be respectful and come in faith, remember that prayer is a petition, an appeal or praise that is addressed
to the father.
Our prayers are special they are likened to incense, which is a material used to produce a fragrant a bouquet
when charred. The scripture says that twenty - Four Elders each holding golden bowls with the prayers of the Saints (those who know Jesus Christ as Personal Savior).
Take note of how the early believers prayed. Please pay extreme attention, they first praised God; then they told God their specific problem and asked for his assistance. Now, they did not ask God to remove the problem, but to help them deal with it. I confess that I needed to re-read and research our subject matter. One might just say that I've been doing it wrong. I/We must understand that it's
not about me/us.
When we approach God we are encouraged to ask and even plead for our most personal and important requests. This is what it takes to get a prayer through. Do you truly have a relationship with the Lord, or do you just call upon him when you're in need. In our ignorance, which is a lack of knowledge, we may ask the Father to remove our problems and he just may choose to do so. But we should recognize that we might get just what we ask for, good or bad.
      Until Next Time...
