Good Day To You,
This past week I was very ill, so ill that my wife
and family attempted to force me into going to the
hospital. Needless to say I was calling on the Lord
throughout my ordeal. During my down time I was
reminded of " Storms " and " Test " that each of us
go through. My prayer was Lord if it be your Will
revive me.
We should always endeavor to be one of God's
greatest achievements. The Father has given us so
many wonderful examples to follow. I look at these
heroes of the faith and I recognize that they were all
at different stages in their lives when introduced to us.
" Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity,
And REVIVE me in your ways " (Psalm 119:37).
Know matter what condition we find ourselves in we
can be REVIVED. Even when we drift apart from God
He is still rooting for us, his arms are stretched out for
us to come closer.
I get it, we all may be vulnerable in certain areas of
our lives. In our minds we may even be thinking I
just can't seem to conquer this sin. One might even
say that it (the sin) is my Achilles Heel.
Most people want lasting joy and will try almost
anything to obtain it, from scrambling for more
money to being involved in wanton sexual
adventures. The only factual source of happiness is
God, He will always have his hands stretched out in
order to assist and revive you.
It's my prayer that those in the Body of Christ who
have lost their first love, be revived. Revelations comes
to mind...(15) " I know your works, that you are
neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold
or hot. (16) So, because you are lukewarm, and
neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out
of my mouth". It should be your quest to become active
and or flourishing again in the Body of Christ. Stay active,
don't become a zombie like Christian. God is capable of
reviving your house of prayer as well as, yourself. He
proves to us each day just how cherish able we are to him.
When asked of, He will renew our love for Him. All I know
is all things are possible with God.
                   Until Next Time...
P.S. When medical attention is required, please don't be
stubborn as I, go for it.
                           Jim
