I want to Thank You so very much for stopping
by.
This week's message is all about " TEAMWORK."
So often we struggle by ourselves, forgetting
that God is able to help us fight our battles,
whether they are against men with weapons or
against spiritual forces. To trust God to
rescue you shows Great Faith.
Now, can you trust Him when injury or persecution is directed
at you? Such spiritual battles requires teamwork
between courageous, faithful people and a Mighty
God.

Because of fear for ourselves, we may not
recognize God's presence in other people and
therefore miss God's victory. Then we must face
the often bitter consequences of failing to join
forces with those God has chosen to do His work.
Because God will prevail with or without you,
be quick to join others who are engaged in His
work. Lend support with your time, money,
talents, and prayer.
LAST POINT: After 70 years in exile, the
captives from Judah were allowed to return
to their homeland. Nearly 50,000 people made
the journey. Now the Lord stirred up the
spirit of Cyrus King of Persia, so that he
sent a proclamation throughout all his
kingdom. Now, this proclamation permitted
the Jews to work together to accomplish the
huge task of rebuilding the temple. Some
did the actual building, while others
operated the supply lines. Significant
ventures require TEAMWORK, with certain
people serving in the forefront and others
providing support. Each function is vital
to accomplishing the task.
When you're
asked to serve, do so faithfully as a
Team Member, no matter who gets the
credit.
 Until Next Time...

" POSSESSIONS "
Well here we are again, the beginning of
another week. I sincerely am grateful that
you had the mind to stop by.
This week we
will be looking into " POSSESSIONS. "
Possession is defined in this manner.
1- Control or Occupancy of property
2- Ownership
3- Something Owned; Property
4- Domination by something
( as an Evil Spirit, a Passion, or a Idea)
5-Self-Control.
I'd like to speak about Paul and possessions.
Now Paul was satisfied with what he had and
so should we. Examine your attitudes toward
wealth and comfort. If you focus more on
what you don't have than on what you do have,
it's time to reexamine your priorities and put
God's work back in first place.
The money we earn is not ours alone.
Everything that we possess comes directly or
indirectly from God and ultimately belongs to
Him. We should return a portion to Him and
also share a portion with those in need.
Possessions will not satisfy if we neglect
God. If we put God first, He will provide
for our deepest needs. If we put Him in any
other place, all our efforts will be futile.
Caring only for your physical needs while
ignoring your relationship with God will
lead to ruin. As mentioned by not giving
God first place in our lives, our work will
not be Fruitful or Productive, and our material possessions will not satisfy.
LAST POINT: A greedy desire can entice us
into doing things or going places we
shouldn't. The prosperity we long for is
captivating;it can both entice us and
enslave us if our motives are not in line
with God's desires.
Until Next Time...

" BEING PRAYERFULLY PROTECTED "
Greetings to you, now please come on in and
sit awhile.
This week we will be looking into
Being Prayerfully Protected.
" BEWARE THAT YOUR HEARTS ARE NOT DECEIVED,
AND THAT YOU DO NOT TURN AWAY AND SERVE OTHER
gods AND WORSHIP THEM " (Deuteronomy 11:16).
Please understand this, Satan is a Liar and
the " Father Of Lies. " Satan still uses
people to obstruct God's work. Whenever he
speaks a lie, he speaks from his own NATURE,
for he is a liar and the Father Of Lies.
Satan's main Tactic in Spiritual Warfare is
to Misrepresent the Word and Character of God.
It is so important that you rise early and
put on your Armor, " The Armor Of God. "
* Piece of Armor: " BELT " Use, " Truth "
Application, Satan fights with lies, and
sometimes his lies sound like truth; but only
believers have God's Truth, which can defeat
Satan's lies.
* Breastplate: " Righteousness " Satan often takes our hearts - the seat of our
emotions, self-worth, and trust. God's
Righteousness is the Breastplate that protects
our hearts and ensures his approval. He approves
of us because He loves us and sent His Son to die
for us.
* Foot Gear: " Readiness to spread the Good
News " Satan wants us to think that telling the
Good News other than the Good News is a worthless
and hopeless tasks - the size of the task is too big
and the negative responses are too much to handle.
But the Foot Gear God gives us is the motivation
to continue to proclaim the true peace that is
available in God - news everyone needs to hear.
* Shield: Use: " Faith " APPLICATION: What we see
are Satan's attacks in the form of Insults, Setbacks,
and temptations. But the shield of faith protects us
from Satan's flaming arrows. With God's perspective,
we can see beyond our circumstances and know that
ultimate victory is ours.
* Helmet: Use: SALVATION;
Application: Satan wants to make us doubt God, Jesus,
and our Salvation. The Helmet protects our minds from
doubting God's Saving work for us.
* Sword: Use:
The Spirit, The Word Of God; Application: The sword is
the only weapon of offense in this list of armor.
There are times when we need to take the offensive
against Satan. When we are tempted, we need to trust in
the Truth Of God's Word.
Until Next Time...

" BEING ALONE "
Welcome Aboard. I'm pleased to see that you saw
your way clear to drop in. This week we will be
looking into " BEING ALONE. "
Now, when Jesus walked the earth people were
flocking to hear Him preach and to have their
diseases healed. Jesus made sure He often withdraw
to quiet solitary places to pray.
Many things clamor
for our attention, and we often run ourselves ragged
attending to them. Like Jesus, however, we should
take time to withdraw to a deserted place to pray.
Strength comes from God, and we can only be
strengthened by spending time with Him.
Since our God is not a God of CONFUSION we should
seek out a place of solitude to receive a good
clear answer from God.
Another thought, if Jesus wasn't tested alone in
the wilderness we would be doomed to Hell. If Jesus
had given in, then his Mission On Earth to die for
our sins and give us the opportunity to have Eternal
Life, would have been lost.
Jesus sought solitude after the news of John's death.
Sometimes we may need to deal with our grief alone.
Jesus did NOT DWELL on his GRIEF, but returned to the
ministry He came to do.
OK, I wish to get back to Jesus' wilderness experience. He had just been fasting forty days and forty nights
and Jesus was hungry. Satan showed up and said, " If you
are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
Yes Jesus was hungry and weak after his fast, but He
chose not to use his Divine Power to satisfy His natural
desire for food. Food, hunger, and eating are good, but
the timing was wrong. Jesus was in the wilderness to fast,
not to eat. And because Jesus had given up the unlimited,
independent use of his divine power in order to experience
humanity fully, He wouldn't use His power to change the
stones into bread.
We may also be tempted to satisfy a
perfectly normal desire in a wrong way or at the wrong time.
If we indulge in SEX before marriage or if we steal to get food, we are trying to satisfy God-given desires in wrong
ways.
Until Next Time...

" WHO DO YOU FELLOWSHIP WITH? "
Come on in and sit awhile, I've got something
to share with you today.
We will be looking into good Christian fellowship.
" FELLOWSHIP: " Companionship between people of the
same background, goal(s), etc. A community in which
people share whatever is held in common.
Now, it's
important for us to be around other Christians.
To neglect Christian meetings is to give up the
encouragement of and for other Christians.
Congenial social feelings is vital in the world of  Christians. We gather together to share our
faith and to strengthen one another in the Lord. As
we get closer to the " day " when Christ will return,
we will face many Spiritual Struggles, and even times
of Persecution. Anti-Christian forces will grow in
strength.
Difficulties should never be excuses for
MISSING CHURCH SERVICES. Rather, as difficulties arise,
we should make an even greater effort to be faithful
in our attendance.
God desires to have FELLOWSHIP with us.The Word Of God
also shows why we are afraid to have FELLOWSHIP with Him.
Question: why we are afraid of having it with God? Adam
and Eve hid from God when they heard Him approaching.
God wanted to be with them, but because of their sin they
were afraid to show themselves. Sin had broken their close
relationship with God, just as it has broken ours. But
Jesus Christ, soon opens the way for us to renew our
fellowship with him. God longs to be with us. He actively
offers us His unconditional love. Our natural response is
FEAR because we feel we can't live up to His standards.
But understanding that He loves us, regardless of our
faults, can help remove that dread.
Until Next Time...

" YEA BUT "
Good Morning All,
My body is racked with pain and I must confess
that today is truly challenging for me. I had
"My Personal Time" with the Lord, then my wife
and I had our time of prayer. Also every Tuesday morning men come over for morning prayer.
Listen
getting back to business, this week we will be
looking into Forgiveness again.
FORGIVE: To give up resentment (2) Pardon,
Absolve; allowing room for error or weakness.
Hebrews 8:12 " FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR
INIQUITIES, AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO
MORE."
Forgiveness involves both attitudes and actions.
If you find it difficult to feel forgiving toward
someone who has hurt you, try responding with kind
actions.
If appropriate, tell this person that you would
like to heal your relationship. Lend a helping hand.
Send him or her a gift. Smile at him or her. Many
times you will discover that right actions lead to right feelings.
How many times have you asked
someone for forgiveness and you hear something like:
You'll Do It Again; or I Forgive You, But; or I Can't
Forgive You Right Now, or You Really Hurt Me? Listen,
don't let anything keep you from forgiving others.
If you are refusing to forgive people, you are
missing a wonderful opportunity to experience joy and
share it with others. Make your joy grow: Forgive somebody who has hurt you.
LAST POINT: How often should we forgive? You know the rabbis taught that the people should forgive those who
offend them - but only three times. Peter, trying to
be especially generous, asked Jesus if seven
(the "perfect" number) was enough times to forgive
another. But Jesus answered, "Seventy Times Seven"
meaning that we shouldn't even keep track of how many
times we forgive someone. We should always forgive those
who are truly repentant, no matter how many times they
ask. So in the future forget " YEA, BUT."
Until Next Time...

" FAILURES "
So how's your day going so far? Are you looking
for things in your life to change in any way?
I do know that "We Have Not Because We Ask Not,"
The Father Is Always Available To Us. I have Him
on speed dial. This week we will be looking into
 " FAILURE. "
FAILURE: Lessons to be learned:
(1)Confess your
sins when God reveals them to you;
(2)When you
fail, refocus on God, deal with the problem, and
move on.
God wants the cycle of sin, repentance,
and forgiveness to strengthen us, not weaken us.
The lessons we learn from our failures should
make us better able to handle the same situation
the second time around. Because God is eager to
give us cleansing, forgiveness, and strength. The
only way to lose is to give up. We can tell what
kind of people we are by what we do on the second
and third attempts.
Be careful what you call a victory. God may see it
as a great failure because you may have disobeyed
and lied to achieve your goal. Dishonest people
soon begin to believe the lies they construct
around themselves. Then they lose the ability to
tell the difference between truth and lies. By
believing your own lies you deceive yourself. You
alienate yourself from God, and you will lose
credibility in all your relationships. In the long
run, honesty wins out.
Often, and if we're honest we may condemn our
predecessors for their failures, but we are twice
as guilty if we repeat the same mistakes that we
recognize as failures. Often we are so ready to
direct God's message at others that we can't see
how it touches our own lives. Make sure you are
willing to take your own advice as you teach or lead.
Until Next Time...

" BEING FAITHFUL "
Well here we are, another week has crept up
upon us again.
Are you " BEING FAITHFUL? "
Are you Faithful in the little things?
First things first " The Lord Preserves The
Faithful." All who believe in the Lord Jesus
will be considered blameless when Jesus Christ
returns.
Now, if you have Faith in Christ
Jesus, even if it is weak, you are and will
be saved." Faithful is He who calls you, and
He also will bring it to pass "
(1 Thess 5:20).
He considered me faithful, putting me into
service. As members in the Body of Christ we
are called to do something positive in His
Name.
Now consider this: people can feel so
guilt-ridden by their past that they think
God could never forgive and accept them. Now
consider Paul's past. He scoffed at the
teachings of Jesus (" Blasphemer ") and
hunted down and murdered God's people
(" A persecutor and a violent aggressor ")
before coming to faith in Christ. God forgave
Paul and used Paul mightily for His Kingdom. No matter how shameful your past, God also
can forgive and use you.
LAST POINT: From 2 Timothy 2:2 " The things
which you have heard from me in the presence
of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful
men who will be able to teach others also."
Now, if the Body of Christ were to consistently
follow this advice, I believe that it would
expand exponentially as well-taught believers
would teach others and commission them, in turn,
to teach still others.
Disciples need to be
equipped to pass on their faith; our work is not
done until new believers are able to make disciples
of others. Are you hearing me? Now let's get it
done.
Until Next Time...

" KEEP IT FRESH "
Oh Happy Days,
Here we are again, another week has come
an gone and we are here to welcome in another.
This week's title is " KEEP IT FRESH."
Fresh is defined as: Full of health and
strength; vigorous; brisk; bright; not faded;
in good condition; not stale; cool and agreeable;
clearly remembered; new; not salt; unpracticed or
unused.
No matter how mundane you may be feeling as
a Christian, always remember that God still has
work for us to do. In living our faith we may
find that rejection, disappointment, or hard
work has brought us to the point of dependency.
But we are still needed.
God has important work
for us as well.
David's plea was for mercy, forgiveness, and cleansing.
You know, God wants our hearts to be right with Him.
Be honest... do you ever feel stagnant in your faith
as though you are just going through the motions?
Has sin ever driven a wedge between you and God,
making Him seem distant? David felt this way he had
sinned with Bathsheba and had just been confronted
by Nathan the prophet. In his prayer he cried,
" RESTORE TO ME THE JOY OF YOUR SALVATION."
God wants
us to be close to Him and to experience his full and
complete life. But sin that remains UN-confessed makes
such intimacy impossible. Confess your sin to God. You
may still have to face some earthly consequences, as
David did, but God will give back the joy of your
relationship with him.
It's vital that we stay fresh in the things of Christ.
Now, Jesus took time to pray. He rose early in the morning
while it was still dark. He went to a secluded place to
pray. Finding time to pray is not always easy, but prayer
is the vital link between us and God. Like Jesus, we must
break away from others to talk with God, even if we have
to get up very early in the morning to do it!
Until Next Time...

" POPULARITY "
Good morning and thanks for stopping by. This week we will be looking into " POPULARITY."
Doing what is right will not always make you
popular. Those who do right will be in the
minority. But to obey God is more important
than to obey people (Acts 5:29).
Don't allow popularity to twist your perception
of your own importance. It's comparatively easy to
be humble when you're not on center stage, but how
will you react to praise and honor?
Don't let your desire for approval, applause, and
popularity drive you to immoral actions. Understand
that the Christian life is not a popularity contest.
After facing much opposition, for His teaching, Jesus
was betrayed by Judas, disowned by the Disciples, crucified, and buried. Now, there was a deliberate
plot to kill Jesus. Without this plot, there would
have been no grounds of popular opinion against Him.
In fact, because of Jesus' popularity, the religious
leaders were afraid to arrest Him during the Passover.
They did not want their actions to incite a riot.
LAST POINT: Christians who faithfully teach God's
Word will not win any popularity contests in the
world. People don't want to hear their sins denounced. They want to listen to demands that they change their
behavior. A false teacher will be well received by non-Christians. Better to be popular in the eye's of
God.
Until Next Time...

" IGNORANCE / IGNORING "
Well here we are again, another week has come
and gone. It's my prayer that all is well in
your camp. This week we will be looking into
" IGNORANCE / IGNORING." It's also my prayer
that we will never be ignorant, especially
about the things of God.
" IGNORANT ":
1- Lacking Knowledge
2- Resulting
from or showing lack of knowledge or intelligence
3- Unaware,uninformed.
There is no standard or criterion higher than
God Himself by which to judge. God Himself is the
standard. Our only option is to submit to His authority and rest in His care.
Don't wait until just the right time before
turning to God. Do it now while you still have
the chance. If you continually ignore God's
voice, eventually you will be unable to hear it
all. God does not offer special protection to
people who ignore Him. We must realize the
importance of obeying God from the heart and not
merely out of habit.
Now, if we want God's help
when we undertake large tasks, we must make
staying close to Him our top priority.
Listen, before making a commitment I'm of the
mind set to seek God's advice first. Now, don't
ask God for advice if you intend to ignore it.
Real love for the Father is shown not by merely
asking for direction, but by following that
direction once it is given.
LAST POINT: Malachi was the last of the Old Testament
Prophets of Judah. Malachi was angry at the priests
because, though they were to be God's messengers,
they did not know God's will. And this lack of knowledge caused them to lead God's people astray.
Their ignorance was willful and inexcusable. Pastors
and leaders of God's people must know God's Word - what it says, what it means, and how it applies to
daily life. How much time do you spend in God's Word?
It's vital that you "Armor Up" early and daily.
Until next Time...

" THE WARNINGS AND PROMISES OF GOD "
Good Day, come on in and sit awhile. You
know it's great to have you aboard. This week we
will be looking into the "Warnings and Promises of God".
" And My people who are called by My name humble
themselves and pray and seek My face and turn
from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
Heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
This verse certainly gives us much to ponder.
God was asked to make provisions for the people
when they sinned. God gave four provisions for
when his people disobeyed.
(1) humble yourself
by admitting your sins
(2) pray to God, asking
for forgiveness
(3) ask God continually
(4) turn from sinful behavior
True repentance
is more than talk - it is changed behavior.
Whether we sin individually, as a group, or as
a nation, following these steps will lead to
forgiveness. I believe that God will always
answer our earnest prayers.
Now, when we realize that we have sinned, we
should quickly ask God for forgiveness and
restoration. OK, put your listening ears on...
Humbling ourselves means recognizing that our
worth comes from God alone. To be humble
involves working with His power according to His guidance, not with our own independent
effort. Although we do not deserve God's
favor, He reaches out to us in love and gives
us worth and dignity, despite our human
shortcomings.
In many places, the Word of God warns us not
to " HARDEN OUR HEARTS." Now this means
stubbornly setting ourselves against God so
that we are no longer able to turn to Him for
forgiveness. The Israelite's became hard hearted
when they disobeyed God's command to conquer
the Promised Land (here called " When They
Provoked Me,"). Be careful to obey God's Word,
and do not allow your heart to become hardened.
Until next time...

YOUR RIGHTS / MY RIGHTS
OK, here we are again another week has come
and gone. It's my Prayer that all is well
with you and those in whom you care so much
about. This week we are going to be looking
into " RIGHT(S)".

Listen to this: when people do not carefully
observe the distinction between good and evil,
destruction soon follows. It is easy for
people to say, "No one can decide for anyone
else what is really right or wrong." They may
think getting drunk can't hurt them,
extramarital sex isn't really wrong, or money
doesn't control them. But when we make excuses
for our actions, we break down the distinction
between right and wrong. If we do not take
God's Word, the Bible, as our standard, soon
all moral choices will appear fuzzy.
Without
God, we are headed for a breakdown and much
suffering. Listen, the longer we wait to deal
with sin, the greater it holds onto us.
Finally, we forget what it means to do right.
I have to ask are you on the verge of
forgetting?
Some of us get to a point where we truly
become hardened. It may even seem like
nothing shakes or even disturbs us any longer.
Now the absence of guilt isn't always a
barometer of whether we are doing right. We can deny reality, we cannot
measure obedience by our feelings, instead, we
must compare what we do with God's standards
for living.
We will do the right thing despite social
pressure.
As sad as it is, sometimes we avoid doing what is right
because of what others might think. We must
choose to obey God rather than seek the approval
of others.
  Until next Time...

UNFAITHFULNESS / SIN
Welcome, take a knee and let's get started.
This week we are looking into Sin once again.
Think back when was the last time that your
parent or friend rebuked you. Were you hurt,
angry, or defensive? If you are rebuked for a
serious mistake, it is for your good. Admit
your error, repent quickly, and always ask for
prayer.
Now being totally honest I've learned by
painful experience that because God is Holy
and hates sin, He must punish sinners.
Disobedience is sin, and it breaks our
fellowship with God. But, fortunately, when
we disobey, God is willing to forgive us and
to restore our relationship with Him.
After
you have sinned do you feel quilt and
embarrassment as I do? Now, due to such
feelings have you ever tried to hide from God? A guilty conscience is a warning
signal God placed inside you that goes off
when you've done wrong. The worst step you
could take is to eliminate the guilty feelings
without eliminating the cause. Be glad those
guilty feelings are there! They make you aware
of your sin so you ask God's forgiveness and
then correct your wrongdoing.
David asked God to search for sin and point it
out, even to the level of testing his thoughts.
This is exploratory surgery for sin. How are we
to recognize sin unless God points it out? Then,
when God shows us, we can repent and be forgiven.
You might consider and make Psalms 139 your Prayer.
David reminds us that the Lord " Knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust." Knowing who we are
and what we wrestle with on earth, God kindly gave
us a book at the very heart of our Bibles that will
sustain us through it all.
If you ask the Lord to
search your heart and your thoughts and to reveal
your sin, you will be continuing on God's
 " Everlasting Way. "
  Until next Time...

" HOPELESSNESS "
Welcome, it's great that you thought to stop by
today. This week we're looking into "Hopelessness."
You're situation is never hopeless, especially if
you sincerely believe in God. Do you recall the
accounting of Joseph? Now, when Joseph became a
slave, Jacob thought he was dead and wept in despair.
Now on the other hand, big brother Reuben returned to
the pit in which Joseph was thrown into to find Joseph,
but his little brother was gone. His response, in
effect was " What Is Going To Happen To Me?
" Rather than " What Is Going To Happen To Joseph?
"
In a tough situation, are you usually concerned
first about yourself? Consider the person most
affected by the problem, and you will be more likely
to find a solution for it. Eventually God's plan
allowed Jacob to regain not only his son, but his
grandchildren as well. Circumstances are never so
bad that they are beyond God's help. Jacob regained
his son. Job got a new family. Mary regained her
brother Lazarus. We need never despair because we
belong to a Loving God. We never know what good he
will bring out of a seemingly hopeless situation.
When we are completely beaten down, we are tempted to
turn from God, give up, and quit trusting Him. When
your situation seems hopeless, determine that no matter
how bad things become you will continue to pray. God will
hear your prayer, and He will rescue you. When others
reject us, we need God most. Don't turn from your most
faithful Friend.
  Until Next Time...

" FRIEND(S) / FRIENDSHIP "
Good Morning,
Is all well in your world today? Hopefully
you're not doing life alone. This week we are
looking into what and how God thinks of
Friend(s)/Friendship.
A description of true friendship to me was
David and Jonathan. You see they were more
than just companions who enjoyed each other's
company, they were True Pals. Now, they
encouraged each other's faith in God and
trusted each other with their deepest thoughts
and closet confidences. These are the marks of
True Friendship to me.
Relationships built on
Love and Fidelity are a Rare Treasure. True
Friends are especially Faithful in times of
ADVERSITY as well as PROSPERITY.
Our friends and associates can have a profound
influence on us, often in very subtle ways. If
we insist on friendship with those who mock
what God considers important, we might sin by
becoming indifferent to God's will.
This attitude
is the same as mocking. Do your friends build up
your friendship, or do they tear it down? True
friends should help, not hinder, you to draw
closer to God.
Does your spouse call you friend? In a healthy marriage, lovers are also good friends. Too often
people are driven into marriage by exciting feelings
of love and passion before they take the time to
develop a deep friendship. This involves listening,
sharing, and showing understanding for other's
likes and dislikes. Friendship takes time, but it
makes a love relationship much deeper and far more
satisfying.
LAST POINT: Loneliness is everywhere - many people
feel cut off and alienated from others. Being in a
crowd just makes people more aware of their isolation.
We all need friends who will stick close, listen, care,
and offer help when it is needed - in good times and
bad. It is better to have one such friend than dozens
of superficial acquaintances. Instead of wishing you
you could find a true friend, seek to become one. There
are people who need your friendship. Ask God to reveal
them to you, and then take on the challenge of being a
true friend.

Until Next Time...

" THOUGHTS "
Good Day to you all. As always it is my honor to
share with you. This week we will be looking into
our " Thoughts."
  THOUGHT:
(1) is the process of thinking;
(2) Serious Consideration; Regard
(3) Reasoning
Power
(4) The Power to imagine; Conception:
(5) Idea, Notion
(6) Opinion, Belief.

Your thoughts reflect your character. Micah
spoke out against those who planned evil deeds
at night and rose at dawn to do them. As
mentioned a person's thought's and plans
mirror his or her character. What do you
think about as you lie down to sleep? Do your
desires involve greed or stepping on others to
achieve your goal? Evil Thoughts lead to evil
deeds.
Now, as an ex-military man from the sixties, I
relate to Paul in his usage of military jargon
as he describes the battle against sin and Satan.
God must be the Commander In Chief - even our
thoughts must be submitted to His control as we
live for Him.
  You know the righteous weigh their answers;
the wicked don't wait to speak because they
don't care about the effects of their words.
It is important to have something to say, but
it is equally important to weigh it first. Do
you carefully weigh your words, or do you pour
out your thoughts without concern for their
impact?
  Until next Time...

" RESURRECTION (BODIES) "
How are you today? I just wanted to thank you for
stopping by. Today we will be looking into a very
real part of our existence. You see it's vital
that each person walking this earth comes to know
Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Today's subject matter is our " RESURRECTED
BODIES."
First things first, if death ended it all,
enjoying the moment would be all that matters. But those of us who are BORN AGAIN know that there is LIFE
BEYOND the grave and that our life on earth is only
a preparation for our life that will never end. What
you do TODAY MATTERS FOR ETERNITY.
In light of
eternity, sin is a foolish gamble.
Have you as a Christian ever been asked about
" How are the dead raised? " And with what kind of
body do they come? " From the Word of God this is
what our resurrected bodies will be like. Question:
If you could select your own body, what kind would
you choose - Strong, Athletic, or Beautiful? Paul
was mindful to explain that we will be recognized
in our resurrected bodies, yet they will be better
than we can imagine, for they will be made to live
forever. We will still have our own personalities
and individualism, but these will be perfected
through Christ's work.
For God's reasoning the
Bible does not reveal everything that our resurrected bodies will be able to do, but we know
they will be perfect, without sickness or disease.
For those of us who have experienced pain and
suffering this is Great News!
So that we're clear our present bodies are
perishable and prone to decay. Our resurrection
bodies will be transformed. These spiritual bodies
will not be limited by the Law of Nature.
This does not necessarily mean we'll be super people,
but our bodies will be different from and more capable
than our present earthly bodies. Our spiritual bodies
will not be weak, will never get sick, and will never
die.
LAST POINT: Keeping company with those who deny the
resurrection could corrupt good Christian character.
Beware, never allow your relationships with UNBELIEVERS to lead you away from Christ or cause your faith to waver.
Until Next Time...

" JUDGMENT "
So how are you doing today? You know I'm
often reminded of a phrase that I often heard
as a child..." KEEP YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU."
This week we will be looking into a subject
that we all should be thinking about: Judgment.
Beware time has come for Judgment, God's
refining discipline. God often allows believers
to sin and then experience the consequences.
He does this for several reasons:
- To show us our potential for sinning
- To encourage us to turn from sin and more constantly depend on Him
- To prepare us to face other, even stranger temptations in the future
- To earthly discipline (Judgment) from God, how much more will unbelievers receive it
If it is hard for the righteous to be saved only because of God's mercy, what chance do those have who REJECT Christ? " FOR JUDGMENT WILL BE MERCILESS TO ONE WHO HAS SHOWN NO MERCY; MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGMENT."
Now only God in His boundless mercy can forgive our sins. We can't earn forgiveness by forgiving others. But when we withhold forgiveness from others after having received it ourselves, we show that we don't understand or appreciate God's mercy toward us.
LAST POINT: Please pay attention, now this is Christ's Law of Forgiveness as taught in the Gospels. We also see it in the Lord's Prayer - " FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE ALSO HAVE FORGIVEN OUR DEBTORS." God does not forgive us because we forgive others, but solely because of His great mercy. As we came to understand His mercy, however,we will want to be like Him. Having received forgiveness, we will pass it on to others.
Those who are unwilling to forgive have not become one with Christ, who was willing to forgive even those who crucified Him. So I say once again " Keep Your Wit's About You."
Until Next Time...

" BROKEN / BROKENHEARTED "
Thank you for stopping by, this week we will be
looking into the " BROKEN / BROKENHEARTED."
For me separation comes immediately to mind
when I think of broken. Yes I'm reminded of loss,
the death of a loved one, like say a parent or a
child. Broken will instantly turn into
" BROKENHEARTED," and we will start the process
of grieving. " The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in
spirit. "
God wants a Broken Spirit and a broken and contrite
heart. You can never please God by outward actions -
no matter how good - especially if your inward heart
attitude is not right. Are you sorry for your sin?
Do you genuinely intend to stop? God is pleased by
this kind of humility.
A life without God can produce a bitter, lonely, and
hopeless old age. Stripped of God's Spirit, our bodies
return to dust. Stripped of God's purpose, our work is
in vain. Stripped of God's love, our service is futile.
We must put God first over all we do and in all we do
because without him we have nothing. Knowing that life
is futile without God motivates the wise person to seek
God first.
Now a life centered around God is fulfilling; it will
make the " Evil Days " - when disabilities, sickness,
and handicaps cause barriers when it comes to enjoying
life satisfying because of the hope of eternal life.
Being young is exciting. But the excitement of youth can
become a barrier to closeness with God if it makes young
people focus on passing pleasures instead of eternal
values. Make your strength available to God when it is
still yours - during your youthful years. Don't waste it
on evil or meaningless activities that become bad habits
and make you callous. Seek God now.
Until Next Time...

" GOD IS ABLE "
Well welcome Aboard, This week we will be looking into the fact that MY/OUR God Is Able. Now I'm reminded of Solomon, when given the chance to have anything in the world he asked for WISDOM. " An Understanding heart " in order to lead well and to make right decisions. We can ask God for this same WISDOM. Now,Wisdom means practical Discernment, we must have the ability to make wise decisions in difficult circumstances. I'm blown away that Solomon asked for discernment to carry out his job; he did not ask God to do the job for him. We should not ask God to do for us what he wants to do through us. Instead we should ask God to give us the Wisdom to know what to do and the courage to follow through on it. Our God is Able to Rise Above any situation in our lives. No Christian can use the excuse that a temptation is unique to him or her. Listen, even Jesus was tempted! Thankfully, God does not allow His Children to be Tempted BEYOND the borders of their Limitations. Unfortunately, people sometimes grow so enamored by Sin that they become blind to the ESCAPE route the Spirit supplies. " Now to him who is ABLE to keep us from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy." God is ABLE He promised Abram descendants like the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore, too numerous to count. To appreciate the vast number of stars scattered through the sky's, you need to be, like Abram, away from any distractions. Or pick up a handful of sand and try to count the grains - it can't be done! Just when Abram was despairing of ever having an heir, God promised descendants too numerous to imagine. God's Blessings are beyond our Imaginations! OUR GOD IS ABLE. Until Next Time... Jim,

" WORD(S) "
Praise The Lord, I am so very grateful to be here with you this morning. I've had my personal time with the Lord at 4 am, as well as Praying for those on my Personal Daily Prayer List. I get excited thinking and Praying for others as my day is spent sharing with folks. When our speech is motivated by: Satan, it is full of: Bitter Jealousy, UN-Spiritual Thoughts and Ideas, Selfish Ambition, Earthly Concerns and Desires along with Disorder and Evil. God and His Wisdom: Love of Others, Righteousness, Mercy, Peace, Sincerity, Impartially, Submission, and consideration for others. When God gives his Word it's FOREVER, unlike Human Beings and their promises, now God's Promise is Reliable and certain to be Realized. I've come to truly recognize that God's Word keeps on Shepherding people forward within the boundaries of His Love and Providence - Through Instruction, Insight, and Inspiration. " BUT WHOEVER KEEPS HIS WORD,TRULY THE LOVE OF GOD IS PERFECTED IN HIM, BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE ARE IN HIM " (1 John 2:5). Now, God's people demonstrate their LOVE for God not by Words but actions. This is not a matter of lip service. Those who know and Obey have God's Love Perfected or Matured in them, so they have a desire to do what God has said. Now, please bear with me another moment, it seems like almost every time one views a Movie or TV program you hear or see some kind of Obscenity. Obscenity and Coarse Joking are so common that we begin to take them for granted. Improper Language should have no place in the Christians Conversation because it does not Reflect God's Gracious Presence in us. How can we Praise God and remind others of His Goodness when we are Speaking Coarsely? LAST POINT: Putting a hand under the thigh was a sign of making a promise, much like shaking hands today. In the days of Jacob and Joseph a Promise was a Promise. A person's word carried as much force as a Written Contract today. Why is it that people today find it easy to say, " I DIDN'T MEAN THAT. " God's people, however, are to Speak the Truth and Live the Truth. Let your Words be as binding as a Written Contract. Until Next Time... Jim,

" THE TRUTH ABOUT WORRY "
I'm Praising the Lord as I was able to open up my eyes this morning. I'm Praising the Lord as I'm able to look out of my window and see much green as well as colors. Only the Father could have created such a world as this.Know matter where you are or what view you're looking at Thank God that there is not six feet of dirt upon you. Now this week the Lord put on my heart a subject that we have covered a couple of times in the past. Our title is: " THE TRUTH ABOUT WORRY. " As Believers I'm confident that we have all heard or read Philippians 4:6: " BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION, WITH THANKSGIVING, LET YOUR REQUEST BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD." Can anything be made any clearer for us... STOP WORRYING. Believers who take anxiety to God in Prayer discover the Peace Of God. We are also promised something even better: THE GOD OF PEACE Himself - His Protection, Presence, Comfort, and Encouragement. When the problem is Worry, the prescription is PRAYER, proper thinking, and proper responses. The opposite of Peace is Worry. The Greek Word for ANXIOUS means to have "A MIND DIVIDED" between legitimate thoughts and destructive thoughts. Destructive thoughts will choke out the word of God and cause believers to abandon Trust. " CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU " (1 Peter 5:7). This simple but profound formula can STOP WORRY in it's tracks: " DON'T WORRY PRAY! " But it has a special application here for people who are anxious about submitting to those in authority. The answer is to take these worries to the Lord in Prayer, CASTING ALL---CARE UPON HIM so He can manage each concern. The Word Of God Says that our steps are ordained by the Lord. Now I confess that I am often confused by events that sometime surround me. The Bible also says that " HOW THEN CAN MAN UNDERSTAND HIS WAYS? " Yes many things we will never understand; while others will fall into place in years to come as we look back and see how God was working. So don't worry if you don't understand everything as it happens. Instead, we should Trust that God Knows what he's doing, even if his timing or design is not clear to us. Until Next Time... Jim,

" WHEN TESTED "
Well, Come on in, May the God Lord Bless you and all of those in whom you care much about. This week we will be looking into " Testing." A TEST: A challenge or difficult situation imposed by God for the purpose of Strengthening Faith; Not to be confused with Temptation to Evil. (2) The act of putting God to the test, demanding that He prove Himself and His power in some way, as Satan attempted to persuade Jesus to do. (3) The act of one person's challenging another to prove himself by answering difficult questions, etc. Now Satan Tempts people to bring out their Worst; God may Test His Beloved ones to bring out their Best. The people closest to often find themselves in the midst of the biggest tests. But Christians must remember: God will only ask them to do what he will enable them to do. Christians are never impervious to temptation and sin. No Christian ever use the excuse that a Temptation is unique to him or her. Even Jesus was Tempted. Now as Born Again Christians, Thankfully, God does not allow His Children to be Tempted BEYOND the borders of their limitations unfortunately, people sometimes grow so enamored by sin that they become blind to the ESCAPE route the Spirit Supplies. When tested don't forget as God's people we can always trust in His provision. So you say that it's just a test, may I ask are you Passing the Test? We live in a Culture filled with Moral Depravity as well as Sin-Inducing Pressures? Now, Paul gave strong encouragement to the Corinthians about Temptation. He said: Wrong Desires and Temptations happen to everyone, so don't feel you've been singled out; (2) Others have resisted temptation, and so can you;(3) Any Temptation can be resisted because God will help you resist it. God helps you Resist Temptation by helping you (1) Recognize those people and situations that give you trouble, (2) Run from anything you know is wrong, (3) Choose to do only what is right, (4) Pray for God's help, and (5) Seek Friends who Love God and can offer help when you are Tempted. Running from a Tempting Situation is your first step on the way to Victory. Until Next Time... Jim,

" ACTIONS "
Greetings and salutations to you on this
fine day that Our Lord has made. This week
we will be looking into " ACTION. "
I believe that actions speak louder than
words. Something that I often share with
other men is: " What we do, our children
will do in excess " good or bad.
Parents help shape the world's future by
the way we shape our children's values.
The
first step helping children live rightly is
for their parents to live rightly. Our actions
are often dittoed by those close to us,
especially our children. What kind of example
are you setting for your children?
I believe that we will be treated as we treat
others. Now a forgiving spirit demonstrates that
a person has received God's forgiveness. Jesus
uses the picture of measuring grain in a basket
to ensure the full amount. If we are critical
rather than compassionate, we will also receive
criticism. If we treat others generously,
graciously, and compassionately, however, these
qualities will come back to us in full measure.
We are to love others, not judge them.
What do you do that marks you as a follower
of God? The way you raise your children,
demonstrate love for others, show concern for
the poor, and live in devotion to God - these
actions will leave visible marks for all to see.
While national groups are marked by customs and
traditions, christians are marked by loving one
another.
Everything we do has consequences. It is vital
to think before acting, to consider the effects
of your choices. Think through your plans for
today and consider what your long-range results
will be. As we deal with others, we should keep
godly principles in mind, always. We should act
responsibly and justly with all people, friends
and enemies alike.
LAST POINT: Complaining versus acting on
problems, you know if we're honest, we hear folks
complain about something daily. How easy it is
for us to complain about our problems, even to
God, while we refuse to act, change, and do what
He requires. We don't even take the advise He has
already given us. Do you ever feel that God has
abandoned you? Check to see if there is anything
He has already told you to do. You may not receive
new guidance from God until you have acted on His
previous directions.
Until Next Time...

" BEING AFRAID "
This week we will be looking into " BEING AFRAID."
"Afraid" is:
(1) being filled with fear or apprehension
(2)
Filled with concern or regret over an unwanted situation
When Jesus walked on the sea, He was able to do it as He
is God. He knows that all things are possible and so should
we. Now, when Peter finally recognized that it was Jesus
walking on the sea opposed to a ghost. He immediately
jumped out of the boat without regard for His own safety.
You see He was focused on Jesus and His faith was was high.
Why is our Faith like a surfers wave? We must always keep
our eyes on Christ, and we will never have to fear anything.
Jesus' Inner Circle could not hold in their fear when they
saw someone walking across the surface of the water not only
because they suspected a GHOST. Mark says it was because their
hearts were hard (Mark 6:52). Even though they have just
witnessed the miraculous feeding of the multitude, they failed
to apply that experience of Jesus' power to this situation.
Now, when we humans do wrong, our impulse is to hide
(If they are still sensitive to sin). Sin disrupts a person's
relationship with others and with God. Still, God seeks a
relationship.
When the Father makes a promise to us we must never doubt.
Now, Abram wasn't promised wealth or fame; he already had that.
Why would Abram be afraid? Perhaps he feared revenge from the
kings he had defeated. God gave him two good reasons for courage:
(1) He promised to defend Abram ("I am a Shield to you"), and
(2) He promised to be Abram's "Reward." When you fear what lies
ahead, remember that God will stay with you through difficult
times and that he has promised you great blessings.
Until Next Time...

" A PROMISE IS A PROMISE "
Greetings,
It's my prayer that all is well in your camp on
this day that our Lord has made. Know that you are
very special to Him as well as to me. Continue to seek the face of Jesus often.
Now this weeks message
title is " A Promise is a Promise."
" PROMISE " Is a pledge to do or not to do
something specified.
God's promises are unchanging and trustworthy.
When promising Abraham a son, God took an oath in His own name. The oath was as good as God's name,
and God's name was as good as His divine nature.
Apparently lying is a commonplace thing now days.
I wish to make it very clear that God does not lie.
As a Christian I'm here to tell you that the foundation of my faith is trust in God's character.
Because God is Truth, He is the source of all Truth,
and He CANNOT LIE. Believing in Him leads to
godliness, living a God-honoring life-style.
The eternal life that God has promised will be ours,
because He keeps His promises. Build your faith on
the foundation of a trustworthy God who never lies.
(2) " Honor your Father and Mother which is the
First Commandment with a Promise,(3) So that it may
be well with you, and that you may live long on the
earth." (Ephesians 6:2-3);Exodus 20:12
This is the first commandment with a promise attached. To live
in peace for generations in the Promised Land, the
Israelite's would need to respect authority and build strong families. But what does it mean to
" HONOR " parents? It means speaking well of them
and politely to them. It also means acting in a way
that shows them courtesy and respect ( but not to
obey them if this means disobedience to God). It
means following their teaching and example of putting
God first.
Now, parents have a special place in God's
sight. Even who find it difficult to get along with
their parents are still commanded to honor them.
GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES, NO MATTER HOW LONG
IT MAY TAKE.
Until Next Time...

" AGE IS A VALUABLE THING "
Welcome Aboard folks, as always it's great
being able to share with you again.
This week
we will be looking into age, and this weeks
title is " AGE IS A VALUABLE THING. "
Some societies honor their elders. They
respect their wisdom, defer to their authority,
and pay attention to their comfort and happiness.
This is how Christians should act.
Where elders
are respected, long life is a blessing, not a
burden to them.
" Wisdom is with aged men, with long life is
understanding " (Job 12:12).
" BOTH THE GREY-HAIRED AND THE AGED ARE ON OUR
SIDE, MEN EVEN OLDER THAN YOUR FATHER "(Job 15:10).
We have the responsibility to honor the elderly.
My friend David went the extra mile and put on a
whole addition to his home to honor and care for
his wife's parents some years back. People often
find it easy to dismiss the opinion of the
elderly and avoid taking time to visit with them.
But the fact that God commanded the Israelite's to
honor the elderly shows how seriously we should
take the responsibility of respecting those older
than we. Their wisdom gained from experience can
save us from many pitfalls.
It seems to me that our society values youthfulness
over wisdom and potential contributions by the
elderly are often ignored. Now, as Christians, we
should reverse those whenever we can. Encourage older
people to share their wisdom and experience. Listen
carefully when they speak. Offer them your friendship
and help them find ways to continue to serve God.
Honoring God is not limited to young people who
seem to have unlimited strength and energy. Even in
old age, devoted believers can produce spiritual fruit.
There are many faithful older people who continue to
have a fresh outlook and can teach us from a lifetime
experience of serving God.
Seek out an elderly friend
or relative to tell you about his or her experiences
with the Lord and challenge you to new heights of
Spiritual Growth.
Never allow your age to disqualify you from serving
God.
Until Next Time...

" THE MIND "
OK, here we are again another week has come and
gone. This week we will be looking into the MIND.
You know once upon a time I read a book called
" Think And Grow Rich " 36 years ago at the age of
30 and I was UN-SAVED and very impressed with this
reading. I wonder just how many lives that I could
have touched if I was reading the Bible daily as a born again Christian.
What we feed into our minds is just as important
as what we feed our bodies.
Now the kinds of books
we read, the people we talk with, the music we listen to, and the films we watch are all part of
our mental diet. Be discerning because what you
feed your mind influences your total health and
Well-Being. Thus, a strong desire to discover
knowledge is a mark of Wisdom.
Again what we put into our minds determine what
comes out in our Words and Actions. Paul tells us
in the Word of God to program our minds with
thoughts that are True, Honorable, Right, Pure, Lovely,
of Good Repute, Excellent, and Praiseworthy. Do you
have problems with IMPURE THOUGHTS and DAYDREAMS?
Again I say examine what you are putting into your
mind through Television, Books, Conversations, Movies,
and Magazines. Replace harmful input with wholesome
material.
Above all, read God's Word and pray. Ask
God to help you focus your mind on what is Good and pure. It takes practice, but it can be done.
One may ask how do I renew my mind? Christians are
called to " Not To Be Conformed To This World," with
its behavior and customs that are usually selfish and
often corrupting. I thank the Lord that many Christians
wisely decide that much worldly behavior is off limits
for them. Our refusal to conform to this world's values,
however, must go even deeper than the level of behavior
and customs - it must be firmly planted in our minds -
" Be Transformed By The Renewing Of Your Mind." It is
possible to avoid most worldly customs and still be
Proud, Covetous, Selfish, Stubborn, and Arrogant. Only
when the Holy Spirit Renews, Reeducates, and Redirects
our Minds are we Truly Transformed.
Work at it, now
keep your Wits about you.
Until Next Time...
 Jim

" OUR BEHAVIOR "
OK, here we are again, another week is upon us
and I want to know are you ready to put your best
foot forward?
This week we will be looking into our Behavior. How often do you consider yours?
Self-Control (being sensible) is an important
aspect in Christianity. OK, to stay above reproach,
we need Wisdom, and Discernment to be Discreet, and
to master our wills, tongues, and passions so that
Christ will not be dishonored.
How's your self-control?

Often we allow others' values and actions to
dictate our attitudes and behavior. Have you ever
made a wrong choice because you wanted to be like
everyone else? Be careful that the values of your
friends or "heroes" don't pull you away from what
God says is right. When God's people want to be
like unbelievers, we are heading for spiritual
disaster.
How can we be perfect?
(1) In Character. In this
life we cannot be flawless, but we can aspire to be
as much like Jesus as possible.
(2)In holiness. Like
the Pharisees, we are to separate ourselves from the
world's sinful values. But unlike the Pharisees, we
are to be devoted to God's desires rather than our
own, and carry his Love and Mercy into the World.
(3) In Maturity. We can't achieve Christ-Like
Character and Holy Living all at once, but we must
grow toward Maturity and Wholeness. Just as we expect
different behavior from a baby, a child, a teenager,
and an adult, so God expects different behavior from
us, depending on our stage of Spiritual Development.
(4) In Love. We can seek to Love others as completely
as God Loves Us.
We can be perfect if our behavior is appropriate for
our maturity level - perfect, yet with much room to
grow. Our tendency to sin must never deter us from
striving to be more like Christ.
Christ calls all of
his disciples to excel, to rise above mediocrity, and to
mature in every area, becoming like him. Those who strive
to become perfect will one day be perfect, even as Christ
is Perfect.
LAST POINT:
If we focus on our God's great Love for us, we will
understand that he only restricts us from actions and
attitudes that ultimately will harm us.
So be mindful
of your behavior.
Until next Time...

" COMPLAINING "
Good Day To You.
Time just seems to row along for me as
I continue to seek the face of the Lord.
Here we are at the dawning of another week
and the Father has put another message on
my heart especially for this week. Now as
always I'll ask you to strap in and lets
get started.
This weeks message is all about
" Complaining."
Are you aware that complaining disintegrates
our faith in God? Take note that we complain
at the drop of a hat. A negative attitude can
cause one to rebel even more and thus bring about
great trouble. It can erode one's faith in
God and encourage us to move in the opposite of
God. Complaining is the path to open rebellion
against God.
Now this begins with dissatisfaction
and skepticism. Then it moves to grumbling about
God and present circumstances. Next comes bitterness
and resentment, followed by rebellion and open hostility. If you are often dissatisfied, skeptical, complaining, or bitter - beware! These attitudes
lead to rebellion and separation from God. Any
choice to side against God is a step in the direction
of letting go of Him completely and making your own
way through life.
Why is it that we complain about our problems instead
of praying first? Some problems can be solved by careful
thought or by rearranging our priorities. Some can be
solved by discussion and good counsel. But some problems
can be solved only by prayer. We should make a determined
effort to pray when we feel like complaining, because
complaining only raises our level of stress. Prayer quiets
our thoughts and emotions and prepares us to listen.
LAST POINT: In times of Danger, Shortages, and
inconvenience we tend to complain. Now, why is that we
don't remember that God provides our need(s)? Difficult
circumstances often lead to stress, and complaining is a
natural response. When pressure comes your way, resist
the temptation to make a quick escape. Instead focus on
God's Power and Wisdom to help you deal with the cause of
your stress.
Until Next Time...

" EMOTIONS "
Welcome, come on in and stay awhile. I always enjoy the company. This week we will be looking into " EMOTIONS. " Emotions, we all have them, Love, Hate or even Despair. We can be emotional about many things and it's vital that we keep them in check. I'm reminded of an accounting in the word of God during a time of rebellion. Now, the negative opinion of ten men caused a great rebellion among God's people. Because it is human nature to accept opinion as fact, we must be especially careful when voicing our negative opinions. What we say may heavily influence the actions of those who trust us to give sound advice. Emotions can cause us to forget facts about God. When the voices of despair went up, everyone joined in. Their greatest fears were being realized. Losing their perspective, the people were caught up in the emotion of the moment, again forgetting what they knew about God's character. What if the people had spent as much energy moving forward as they did moving back? They could have enjoyed their land - instead they never even entered it. When a cry of despair goes up around you, consider the larger perspective before you join in. You have better ways to use your energy than to complain. Avoid rash promises in the heat of battle. In the heat of emotion or personal turmoil it is easy to make foolish promises to God. These promises may sound very Spiritual when we make them, but they may produce only guilt and frustration when we are forced to fulfill them. Making Spiritual " Deals " only brings disappointment. God does not want promises for the future but obedience for today. I still get blown away when I think about Job. He was truly a man of Faith, Patience, and Endurance. He was also known for his generosity as well as being a caring person, oh he was likewise very wealthy. Anyway Job received this news while he was still speaking, another also came and said, " Your Sons and your Daughters were eating and drinking wine, the roof fell in and killed all of your children." Job did not hide his overwhelming grief. He had not lost his faith in God; instead, his emotions showed that he was human and that he loved his family. God created our emotions, and it is not sinful or inappropriate to express them as Job did. If you have experienced a deep loss, a disappointment, or a heartbreak, admit your feelings to yourself and others, and grieve. Until next Time... Jim,

" ARE YOU SATISFIED "
Top Of The Morning To You, How are you doing on this day that the Lord has made? Know matter where you may be geographically in this world, and what the weather is like, as I said a moment ago...This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made. It's vital that you come to know the Lord and " Proclaim The Good News of His Salvation from day to day." This weeks title: " ARE YOU SATISFIED " "Satisfaction" is defined in this manner: (1) Payment through penance of punishment incurred by sin (2) Contentment,Gratification (3) Reparation for an insult (4) Settlement of a claim. In the Word of God we are told of two brothers Jacob and Esau. In this account Esau traded the lasting benefits of his birthright for immediate pleasure of food. He acted on impulse, satisfying his immediate desires without pausing to the long-range consequences of what he was about to do. We can fall into the same trap. When we see something we want, our first impulse is to get it. At first we feel intensely satisfied and sometimes even powerful because we have obtained what we set out to get. But immediate pleasure often loses sight of the future. we can avoid making Esau's mistake by comparing the short-term satisfaction with its long-range consequences before we act. Now Esau exaggerated his hunger. " I Am About To Die," he said. This thought made his choice much easier because if he was starving, what good was an inheritance anyway? The pressure of the moment distorted his perspective and made his decision seem urgent. We often experience similar pressures. For example, when we feel sexual pressure, a Marriage Vow may seem unimportant. We might feel such great pressure in one area that nothing else seems to matter and we lose our perspective. Getting through that short pressure - filled moment is often the most difficult part of overcoming a temptation. Until Next Time... Jim,

" CHOICES "
Today is a new day, and therefore we will make numerous choices. It will remain to be seen just how good or bad these choices may have been. This weeks subject we will be " CHOICES." All of us make hundreds of choices every day. Most choices have no right or wrong attached to them - like what you wear or what we eat. But always face decisions that carry a little more weight. We don't want to do wrong, and we don't want to cause others to do wrong, so how can we make such decisions? " Making Choices In sensitive Issues " If I choose one course of action: (1) Does it help my Witness for Christ? (2) Am I motivated by a desire to help to know Christ? (3) Does it help me to do my best? (4) Is it against a specific command in scripture and would thus cause me to sin? (5) Is it the best and most beneficial course of action? (6) Am I thinking only of myself,or do I truly care about the other person? (7) Am I acting Lovingly or Selfishly? (8) Does it Glorify God? (9) Will it cause someone else to sin? Sin can be enticing because it offers a quick route to prosperity and makes us feel like one the crowd. But when we go along with others and refuse to listen to the truth, our own appetites become our masters, and we'll do anything to satisfy them. Sin, even when attractive, is deadly. We must learn to make choices, not on the basis of flashy appeal or short-range pleasure, but in view of the long-range effects. Sometimes this means steering clear of people who want to entice us into activities that we know are wrong. We can't be friendly with sin and except our lives to remain unaffected. LAST POINT: We all have choices in life and we must live with our decisions. God gave Adam a choice, and therefore the possibility of choosing wrongly. God still gives us choices, and we too, often choose wrongly. Now the wrong choices may cause us pain, but they can help us learn and grow and make wiser choices in the future. Living with the consequences of our choices teaches us to think and choose more carefully. Until Next Time... Jim,

" DECEPTION "
Good Day To You,
Last week I experienced computer problems an I
was offline for 7 1/2 days. Well I'm back and as
usual I'm bringing forth the Word. The title of
this weeks message is " Deception. "
Deception: The act of deceiving (2)The fact or
condition of being deceived (3)Fraud,trickery.
The Bible addresses hypocrisy. You see many
people claim to know God. So I'm of the mindset,
how can we know if anyone really does? We will
not know for certain in this life, but a glance
at their life-styles will quickly tell us what
they value and whether they have ordered their
lives around Kingdom priorities. Our conduct
speaks volumes about what we believe. What do
people know about God and about your faith by
watching your life?
How can you be sure that you belong to Christ?
If you do what Christ says and live as Christ
wants. What does Christ tell us to do? We are to
" Believe in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ,
and Love One Another. "
True Christian Faith
results in "Loving Behavior"; that is why the way
we act can give us assurance that we belong to
Christ.
Now, to people who are feeling guilty and
condemned, you know that you have sinned, and
Satan ( called " The Accuser ") of the brethren
is demanding the death penalty. When you feel this
way, don't give up hope - the best Defense Attorney
in the universe is pleading your case. Jesus Christ,
your Advocate, your Defender, is the Judge's Son. He
has already suffered your penalty in your place.
You can't be tried for a case that is no longer on
the docket. United with Jesus, you are as safe as He is.
Don't be afraid to ask Jesus to plead your case
- He has already won it.
If you are being deceptive about something in your
life, and wearing a mask it's time to confess. True
confession also involves a commitment not to continue
in sin. We wouldn't be genuinely confessing our sins
to God if we planned to commit them again and just
wanted temporary forgiveness. I believe that we
should also pray for strength to defeat temptation
the next time we face it.
LAST POINT: When we come to Christ, He forgives all
the sins we have committed or will ever commit. We
don't need to confess the sins of the past all over
again, and we don't need to fear that God will reject
us if we don't keep our slate perfectly clean.
Of course we should continue to confess our sins, but
not because failure to do so will make us lose our
Salvation. Our relationship with Christ is secure.
Instead, we should confess so that we can enjoy
Maximum Fellowship and Joy with Him.
Now Confess your Sin and Move Forward.
Until Next Time...

" FAILURE "
Good Day To You, Another week has come and gone which means that it's our time to share. This weeks subject will be about " Failure, " I'm sure that we all have experienced it a time or two in the past. Between you and and I failure will knock at our door sometime in our future. Lessons we all should learn about failure: (1) Confess your sins when God reveals them to you;(2)When you fail, refocus on God, deal with the problem, and move on. God wants the cycle of sin, repentance, and forgiveness to strengthen us, not weaken us. Now the lessons we learn from our failures should make us better able to handle the same situation the second time around. Because God is eager to give us cleansing, forgiveness, and strength, the only way to lose is to give up. We can tell what kind of people we are by what we do on the second and third attempts. Often we hide from important responsibilities because we are afraid of failure, afraid of what others will think, or perhaps unsure about how to proceed. Prepare now to step up to your future responsibilities. Count on God's provision rather than your feelings of adequacy. Peter wept bitterly, not because he realized that he had denied his Lord, the Messiah, but also because he had turned away from a very dear friend, a person who had loved and taught him for three years. Peter had said that he would never deny Christ, despite Jesus' prediction. But when frightened, he went against all he had boldly promised. Unable to stand up for his Lord for even 12 hours, he had failed as a Disciple and as a Friend. We need to be aware of our own breaking points and not become over confident or self-sufficient. If we fail him, we must remember that Christ can use those who recognize their failure. From this humiliating experience Peter learned much that would help him later when he assumed leadership of the young church. LAST THOUGHT: When nothing makes sense, and when troubles seem more than you can bear, remember that God gives strength. Take your eyes off your difficulties and look to God, now does this finally compute?

" JUDGING OTHERS "
Good Morning To You, Welcome and come on in,is all well in your camp? Life is surely interesting and definitely unpredictable. Are you doing a good job at surrounding yourself with good people, those in whom are of like-mind regarding the things of God? This week we will be looking into "JUDGING OTHERS. " OK, let's get started. Our Lord Jesus Christ has been given the authority to judge all the earth. Although his judgment is already working in our lives, there is a future, final judgment when Christ returns and everyone's life is reviewed and evaluated. This will not be confined to unbelievers;Christians too will face a judgment. Their eternal destiny is secure, but Jesus will look at how they handled gifts, opportunities and responsibilities in order to determine their heavenly rewards. At the time of judgment,God will deliver the righteous and condemn the wicked. We should not JUDGE OTHERS' Salvation; that is God's work. Now our Lord warns against judging by appearance alone. When we judge by outward appearance,we may overlook quality individuals who lack the particular physical qualities society currently admires. Appearance doesn't reveal what people are really like or what their true value is fortunately, God judges by faith and character, not appearance. And because only God can see on the inside, only he can accurately judge people. Most people spend hours each week maintaining their outward appearance; they should do even more to develop their inner character. While everyone can see your face, only you and God know what your heart really looks like. What steps are you taking to improve your heart's attitude? Until Next Time... Jim,

" THE DAY OF JUDGMENT "
Welcome, come on in and stay awhile, Question for you DO YOU KNOW THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR? This weeks message will be on the " DAY OF JUDGMENT. " "In the last days" Mockers will say that Jesus is never coming back. The " last Days " is the time between Christ's First and Second Comings; thus we live in the last days, and it is wise that you grasp this fact. we must do the work to which God has called us and believe that he will RETURN as Promised. God is not slow; he is just not on our timetable. I'm of the mind that Jesus is waiting so that more sinners will repent and turn to him. The wicked and the proud will finally get what they deserve. If it seems as though God ignores the evil and proud people of our day, be assured that a day of judgment will come, just as it came for the people of Judah. I for one believe that God is waiting patiently for sinners to repent, but when his judgment comes, " None Of Them Shall Remain. " What you decide about God NOW will determine your fate then. Whenever we begin to trust in jobs, the economy, a political system. or military might, for our security, we put God in the back seat. Don't allow your money to lead you into sin, as money has a strange power to lead people into sin. Remember Paul said that " The Love of money is a Root of all sorts of evil" (1 Tim. 6:10). It is ironic that we use money - a gift of God - to by things that separate us from him. It is tragic that we spend so much money seeking to satisfy ourselves, and so little time seeking God, the true source of satisfaction. LAST POINT: Now if God did not spare angels, or people who lived before the flood, or the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah,he would not spare those who do not know him as Lord and Savior. Now there are some who believe that God will save all people because he is so loving. But it is foolish to think that he will cancel the Last Judgment. Those three examples should warn us clearly that God judges sin and that unrepentant sinners cannot escape. Until Next Time... Jim,

SELF-WORTH / SELF - ESTEEM
Good Morning to you, well here we are again another week has come and gone. We are about to step into the Spring of the year and I wish you my very best. Every thing is coming alive, God's creation is bursting at the seams. Now this weeks message is entitled SELF-WORTH / SELF-ESTEEM, Lord Willing you'll have a better understanding and grow. Since God chose to create us, we are valuable in his eyes; (2) We are more important than the animals. Now our true value is God's estimate of our worth, not our peers'. Other people evaluate and categorize us according to how we perform, what we achieve, and how we look. But God cares for us, as he does for all of his creatures, because we belong to him. So we can face life without fear. Listen, our self-esteem is found in knowing that we are created in God's Image. Now, one may ask in what ways are we made in God's Image? God obviously did not create us exactly like himself because God has no physical body. Instead, we are reflections of God's glory. Some feel that our reason, creativity, speech,or self-determination is the image of God. More likely, it is our entire self that reflects the image of God. We will never be totally like God because he is our supreme creator. But we do have the ability to reflect his character in our Love, Patience, Forgiveness, Kindness, and Faithfulness. Knowing that we are made in God's image and thus share many of his Characteristics provides a solid basis for self-worth. Human Worth is not based on possessions, achievements, physical attractiveness, or public acclaim. Instead it is based on being made in God's image. Because we bear God's image, we can feel positive about ourselves. Criticizing or downgrading ourselves is criticizing what God has made and the abilities he has given us. Knowing that you are a person of worth helps you love God, know him personally, and make a valuable contribution to those around you. LAST POINT: God saw that all he had created was very good. You are part of God's creation, and he is pleased with how he made you. If at times you feel worthless or of little value, remember that God made you for a good reason. You are valuable to him. Until Next Time... Jim,

" THAT STILL SMALL VOICE "
Listen, I want to thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. This week we will be looking into Hearing The Voice Of God. You know the further away from God that we get, the harder it is for us to hear when He is Speaking. God is our friend, but he is also our Sovereign Lord. Now, to approach him frivolously shows a lack of respect and sincerity. When you come to God in worship, do you approach him casually, or do you come as though you were an invited guest before "The King Of Kings?" If necessary, adjust your attitude so it is suitable for approaching a Holy God. I've heard some say that they never hear from God now or ever. Question, are you available, you know God uses ordinary people? Do you remember the last time that you were used by God? I'm reminded of a scripture 1 Kings 19:9 we're told that the Word Of God came to Elijah: Now the actual verse says: " Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the Word of the Lord came to him, and He said to Him, " What are you doing here Elijah? " Our Lord and God will always find a way to communicate with us. After all we are his children, and we must always be listening and watching for him. He certainly got his people's attention when he divided the sea before them so that they could pass to escape the soldiers of the pharaoh, another time with a pillar of cloud he led them by day,and with a pillar of fire by night to light for them the way in which they were to go. Then he came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with His People from Heaven; He also provided bread from heaven for them for their hunger, you likewise brought forth water from a rock for them for their thirst. Our God can be pretty clear of his wishes when he communicates with us. Through Elijah's encounter with the Lord we learn that the Lord communicates with us and it's unmistakable. Now Elijah knew that the sound of gentle blowing was God's Voice. He also recognized that God doesn't reveal himself only in Powerful, Miraculous ways. To look for God only in something big ( Rallies, Churches, Conferences,Highly Visible Leaders). May be to miss him because he is often found gently whispering in the quietness of a humbled heart. Are you listening for God? Step back from the noise and activity of your busy life and listen humbly and quietly for His guidance. It may come when you least expect it. Until next Time... Jim,

" LONELINESS "
Good Day To You, this week we will be looking into " Loneliness. " Nobody wants to be alone, nor should we ever experience loneliness. Loneliness is everywhere - many people feel cut off and alienated from others. Being in a crowd just makes people more aware of their isolation. Now we all need friends who will stick close no matter what, who will listen, care, and offer help when it is needed - in good times and bad. I'm very blessed in this area and you know who you are, thanks for always being available. It is better to have one such friend than dozens of what I call superficial acquaintances. Instead of wishing you could find a true friend, seek to become one. There are people who need your friendship. Ask God to reveal them to you, and then take on the challenge of being a true friend. Loneliness makes us feel sorry for ourselves. When you are tempted to think that you are the only one remaining faithful to a task don't stop to feel sorry for yourself. You see self-pity will dilute the good you are doing. Be assured that even if you don't know who they are, others are faithfully obeying God and fulfilling their duties. Jesus used Parables to explain that although Christianity had very small beginnings, it would grow into a worldwide community of believers. When you feel alone in your stand for Christ, realize that the Father is building a worldwide kingdom. He has faithful followers in every part of the world, and your faith no matter how small, can join with that of others to accomplish great things. Do life's problems always seem to go from bad to worse? God is the only one who can reverse this downward spiral. He can take our problems and turn them into glorious victories. But there is one very necessary requirement - we, like David, must cry out, " Turn to me and be gracious to me." When you are willing to do that, God can turn the worst into something wonderful. The next step is yours - God has already made his offer. Until next Time... Jim,

" DOING WHAT'S RIGHT "
This week we will be looking into our decision making process. Don't you think that it's time that we look into " DOING WHAT'S RIGHT. " So take a deep breath and let's get started. Now, will you give me your full attention for a few moments? Whether you've taken notice or not we make hundreds of decisions every day. How we react to a moral dilemma often exposes our real motives. OK, it's time to be real, I'm under the assumption that we are more worried about getting caught, you may be in a position that is less than honest. Let your fear of getting caught be a warning to do right. Are you worried about looking good or doing right? Admit your mistakes, and show that you are more interested in doing what is right than in looking good. Are you determined to do the right thing, do you have the courage to stand alone? Doing what is right will not always make you popular. Those who do right will be in the minority, but to obey God is more important than to obey people. I believe that a good or bad habit can be formed within 28-30 days. Persistent sin makes us forget what is right, now have you ever thought that I no longer know how to do what is right. The more one sins, the harder it will be to remember what God wants. The same is true for all of us. The longer we wait to deal with sin, the greater it holds onto us. Finally we forget what it means to do right. ARE YOU ON THE VERGE OF FORGETTING? Until next Time... Jim,

" INSPIRATION "
Good day to you. I have already prayed multiple times this day for those
of you on my " Immediate Prayer List. " Isn't God good? Just
think about it, You Woke Up This Morning, and yet many did not
see the dawn nor will others see twilight. You see I am truly
inspired to be a Child of God, as I have so much to look forward
to each moment of the day. This week we will be looking into
" INSPIRATION. "
First things first, the Bible is not a collection of stories,
fables, myths, or merely human ideas about God. It's not a human
book! Through the Holy Spirit, God revealed His person and plan
to certain believers, who wrote down his message for His people.
This process is known as INSPIRATION. The writers wrote from
their own personal, historical, and cultural contexts. Although
they used their own minds, languages, and styles, they wrote
what the Holy Spirit wanted them to write. Scripture is completely
trustworthy because God was in control of it's writing. Its words
are entirely authoritative for our faith and lives.
The Bible is
" GOD-BREATHED. " Read It, and use Its teachings to guide your
conduct. The Bible is our standard for testing everything else
that claims to be true. It is our safeguard against false teaching
and our source of guidance for how we should live.
" But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and
knowledge and in all eagerness and in the love we inspired in you,
see that you abound in this gracious work also (2Corinthians 8:7).
The process in which the scriptures were written as stated in
2 Tim. 3:16 and 1 Pet 1:21. These chosen human authors were guided
directly by the Holy Spirit, and the Scriptures themselves are the
Words of God. As a Christian Doctrine, Inspiration guarantees that
all the words of Scripture are completely Reliable and Without Error
(see Inerrancy). It does not mean that God simply dictated the words
to the human authors, though this is undoubtedly to some extent.
Instead God guided the authors in such a way that their own personalities
are discernible in their writings, while the truth and accuracy of their
words are ensured.
Please open up your mind and rediscover the Word Of
God. Question: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a tim. Now how
do you study the Word Of God... one word, or sentence at a time? Personally
I'm Inspired by those who take the time to STUDY the Bible, as I recognize
that I can learn from them.
Until next Time...
Jim,

" INNATE ABILITIES "
Well here we are again, another week has come
and gone. And as always I have something to
share with you of great importance.
This week we
will be looking into our " INNATE ABILITIES. "
All of us have special skills. God wants to fill
us with His spirit so we will use them for His
glory. Now think about your special talent(s) and
abilities and the ways you could use them for God's
work in the world.
A talent must be used or it will
diminish. Everyone of God's people has been given
Special Abilities. We are responsible to develop
these abilities - even the ones not considered
religious - and to use them for God's glory. Now we
can become skilled through hard work and study, by
watching others, and through practice. Work on your
skills or abilities that could help your church and
or the community.

Now those who have ears, please listen. Jesus told
us how to live until He comes: We must first watch
for Him, work eagerly, and obey His commands. Now
attitudes such as these are especially necessary for
leaders. As I've watched those who lead me, I'm
convinced that our Lord increases opportunities and
responsibilities. The more resources, talents, and
understanding we have, the more we are responsible
to use them effectively. God will not hold us
responsible for gifts He has not given us, but all of
us have enough gifts and duties to keep us busy until
Jesus comes.
When I think about our abilities my mind goes to the
Word of God. How many of us regretfully do not live up
to our Potential in God. I'm thinking of the parable
of the LOANED MONEY, now the verse reads: " TO ONE HE
GAVE FIVE TALENTS, TO ANOTHER, TWO, AND TO ANOTHER, ONE,
EACH ACCORDING TO HIS OWN ABILITY; AND HE WENT ON HIS
JOURNEY."
So that we're clear: A landowner was about to
go on a journey, so he called upon some valued slaves
and entrusted his possessions to them. Now this man
divided the money (talents) among his servants according
to their abilities in his eyes. Now the Master made very
sure that no one received more or less than what he could
handle. If they failed in his assignment, there excuse
could not be that he was overwhelmed. Failure could only
come from his own laziness or from hidden hatred for the
master.
Now these talents can represent any kind of
resource we are given. The Father gives us time, gifts,
and other resources according to our abilities and he
expects US to invest them wisely until He returns. We are
responsible to use well what God has given us. The issue
is not how much we have, but how well we use what we have.
Until next time,
Jim,

" PRAYER RELEASES STRESS "
Welcome, come on in and sit a spell. This week we will be looking into stress and
how we can live a stress free life. What is stress
and how is it characterized in the dictionary?
[ pressure; strain; a force that tends to distort a
body].
Difficult circumstances often lead to stress, and
complaining is a natural response. When pressure comes
your way, resist the temptation to make a quick escape.
Instead, focus on God's power and wisdom to help you
deal with the cause of your stress. Prayer can release
our tensions in times of emotional stress.
Trusting
God to be our Rock, Salvation, and Stronghold will
change our entire outlook on life. No longer must we be
held captive by resentment toward others when they hurt
us. When we are resisting in God's strength, nothing can
shake us.
Resisting the pressure of the moment, satisfying
immediate desires without pausing to consider the long-range consequences of what you are about to do.
When we
see something we want, our first impulse is to get it. At
first we feel intensely satisfied and sometimes even
powerful because we have obtained what we set out to get.
But immediate pleasure often loses sight of the future.
We can avoid making mistakes by comparing the short-term
satisfaction with its long-range consequences before we
act. When we feel sexual pressure, a marriage vow may seem
unimportant. We might feel such a great pressure in one area
that nothing else seems to matter and we lose our perspective.
Getting through that short pressure-filled moment is often
the most difficult part of overcoming a temptation.
If we attempt to meet life's challenges with human effort
alone, we will find the pressures and temptations around us
too great to resist. We often focus our hope and confidence
on some influential leader, failing to realize that in reality
it is God who is in command.
Acknowledge God as your Commander
In Chief, and avoid the temptation of relying too heavily on
human leaders, regardless of their Spiritual Wisdom. Are we
clear?
Until Next Time...

" JUDGMENT OF GOD "
Good Morning to you, I want you to know that I
am so pleased that you decided to stop by.
This
week we will be looking into the " Judgment Of
God." Please open up your mind and don't just
brush off this message.
Now God's message hasn't changed from the Old
Testament days. People were then and are still
judged by our unproductive lives. The Lord
calls upon us to be active in our obedience. In
the Word Of God John compared people who claim
they believe God but don't live for God to
unproductive trees that will be cut down.
To be productive for God, we must obey His
Teachings, Resist Temptation, Actively Serve and
Help Others , and Share Our Faith. A quick question: how productive are you for God?
I believe that the Bible is the best example for
us to learn about the things of God. This week we
are looking into the " JUDGMENT OF GOD. " Judgment
will separate Believers and Unbelievers. Jesus
needed so much for us to understand about his judgment
that he spoke in Parables.
'ALLOW BOTH TO GROW
TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST; AND IN TIME OF THE HARVEST
I WILL SAY TO THE REAPERS, " FIRST GATHER UP THE TARES
AND BIND THEM IN BUNDLES TO BURN THEM UP; BUT GATHER
THE WHEAT INTO MY BARN (Matt.13:30).
Now the young tares
(weeds) and the young blades of wheat appear as the same
and can't be distinguished until they are grown and
ready for harvest. Weeds (unbelievers) and Wheat
(believers) must live side by side in this world. Now God
allows unbelievers to remain for awhile, just as the
farmer allows the weeds to remain in the field so the
surrounding wheat isn't uprooted with them. At the harvest
however, the weeds will be uprooted and thrown away. Pay
attention, God's Harvest (JUDGMENT) of all people is coming.
So, if I were you I would make sure that my Faith is sincere.

Until Next Time...

" CONTENTMENT "
First Things First,I appreciate you stopping by.
This
week we will be looking into Contentment. Ease of mind;
Satisfaction.
To covet is to wish to have the possessions of others.
It goes beyond simply admiring someone else's possessions
or thinking, " I'd like to have one of those." Coveting
includes envy-resenting, the fact that others have what
you don't.
God knows, however, that possessions never
make anyone happy for long. Since only God can supply all
our needs, true contentment is found only in Him. When you
begin to covet, try to determine if a more basic need is
leading you to envy. Now for example, you may covet someone's
success, not because you want to take it away from him, but
because you would like to feel as appreciated by others as he
is. If this is the case, pray that God will help you deal with
your resentment and meet your basic needs.
We deceive ourselves when we measure our happiness or
contentment in life by the amount of wealth we possess. When we
put riches at the top of our Value System, Pleasure, and Financial
security overshadow the Eternal Value of our relationship with
God. We think that we will be happy or content when we get riches,
only to discover that they don't really satisfy, and the pleasures
fade away. The treasure measurement of happiness or contentment is
found in God's Love and in doing His Will.
You will find true
happiness if you put your relationship with God above earthly riches.
Pride results from overvaluing ourselves and undervaluing others.
It leads to restlessness because it makes us dissatisfied with what
we have and concerned about what everyone else is doing. It keeps us
always hungering for more attention and adoration. By contrast,
humility, puts others first and allows us to be content with God's
leading in our lives. Such contentment gives us security so that we
no longer have to prove ourselves to others. Let humility and trust
affect your perspective and give you the strength and freedom to serve
God and others.
We may not get all that we want. But by trusting in Jesus Christ, our
attitudes and appetites can change from wanting everything to excepting
His provision and power to live for Him.
Until next Time...

" THE END TIMES "
Happy Days To You,
First things first, Welcome, I'm so very glad
that you decided to stop by. Today's subject is
one where I feel that some folks just might not
want to hear nor talk about " THE END TIMES. "
Folks it's time that we all recognize that we
are in the End Times. Please, please pay attention
to this week's message.
Now we can all have what I consider to be the
Glorious Future. God acts from above to change
man's condition here on earth. Only when God's
Spirit is among us can we achieve true peace and
fruitfulness. I believe that this will happen in
The End Times.
We can also have God's Spirit with
us now, for He is available to ALL BELIEVERS
through Jesus Christ. But the outpouring mentioned
here happens when the Worldwide Kingdom of God is
established for all Eternity.
Jesus' word about His Second Coming and what we can
expect. Now Jesus' reply emphasized the events that
would have to take place before the end of the age.
Jesus pointed out that we should be less concerned
with knowing the exact date and more concerned with
being prepared - living God's way consistently so
that no matter when Jesus comes in His Glory, He
would claim us as His own.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE END TIMES:
(1) We are not to
be misled by confusing claims or speculative
interpretations of what will happen.
(2) We should not
be afraid to tell people about Christ despite what they
might say or do to us.
(3) We must stand firm by Faith
and not be suppressed by persecution.
(4) We must be
morally alert, obedient to the commands for living found
in God's Word.
I'm not sharing this with you to promote
discussions on prophetic timetables, but to stimulate
right living for God in a world where He is largely
ignored.
According to Scripture, the one clear sign of Christ's
Return will be His unmistakable appearance in the clouds,
which will be seen by all people. In other words, you do
not have to wonder whether a certain person is the Messiah
or whether these are the " END TIMES." When Jesus returns,
you will know without a doubt, because it will be evident
to all true believers. Now because of groups who claim
special knowledge of the last days, because no one knows
when that time will happen. Be cautious about saying,
" THIS IS IT!" but be bold in your total commitment to
have your heart and life ready for Christ's Return.
Until next Time...

" OUR PASTORS / MINISTERS "
Greetings,
Well here we are again another week has come and
gone. I never know what I'm going to write about until
the Lord Jesus Christ puts a subject on my heart.
This
week I've been led to share with you about our Shepherd,
our Pastor or Ministers.
A Pastor is one of the position(s) of leadership in the
Local Church which the Holy Spirit uses for the edification
of the Body of Christ. A person so gifted is to: lead the
members of the Body, help them to understand and apply the
Scriptures and keep them safe from false teachers and
unsound doctrine.
Our Pastors are or should be recognized as
Shepherds of People.
Pastors are just like you and me; flesh and blood. We all
have our faults, and sometimes it may seem that we can never
rise above them. Now, can you imagine the pressure that our
Pastors are under everyday of their lives? Are you lifting
up your Pastor in prayer throughout your day, and do you even
give him a thought at all?
If your Pastor is anything like
mine he's always on the go for Jesus. As Shepherds they are
constantly being attacked, and therefore our prayers are
very much needed. I know that you are up for this task, vow
that you will Stand In The Gap for your Pastor daily... well
do ya, say it.
Micah was a straight shooting Prophet of God. His purpose
was to warn God's people that judgment was coming and to
offer pardon to all who repent. Now the people of his day
liked the false prophets who told them only what they wanted
to hear. Micah spoke against prophets who encouraged the
people to feel comfortable in their sin. Preachers are popular
when they don't ask too much of us and when they tell us our
greed or lust might even be good for us. But a true teacher of
God speaks the truth, regardless of what the listeners want to
hear. Ministers shouldn't dilute the message to please the
crowd. Don't expect your pastor's to do everything. " BUT WE
WILL DEVOTE OURSELVES TO PRAYER AND TO THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD "
(Acts 6-4).
The Bible explains that the Apostles' priorities
were correct. That the ministry of the Word of God should never
be neglected because of administrative duties. Our Pastors should
not try, or be expected to try, to do everything. Instead, the
work of the church should be spread out among its members, and
Church Volunteers. Again I say, Lift up your Pastors and Ministers
daily, as Satan never gives up the thought of taking them down.
Until next Time...
