" GOD'S JUDGMENT "

It's truly good to see you again, how was your time off
yesterday? Were you able to reflect on the true meaning
of the Memorial Day observance here in the United States?
This weeks message is one of great consequences to many
so for your own good please open up your heart and your
mind.

The major purpose for the return of Jesus, known as the
Second Coming is to judge people for how we've lived on
earth. On judgment day those of us who accepted Jesus and
lived his way will be raised to eternal life and those who rejected
Jesus and lived any way they pleased will face eternal punishment.

God's judgment is a indisputable fact and it will be directed towards
the wicked. God will unleash his fury towards those who do not know
Him. I suspect that the unsaved around the world will be grieve
stricken ed when they realize that they have chosen the wrong side.
Can you imagine the horror accompanied by much regret, in knowing
that it will be too late to switch sides. Now, we don't know exactly
when it will happen, but we know that no one will be able to flee their
final encounter with Jesus Christ.

God allows unbelievers to remain for a while. God's judgment of all
people is coming. We are to make ourselves ready by making sure
that our faith is sincere. Just as the Roman Army and our Military
today. We use our weapons for authority and judgment. Our
punitive measure is swift and we like to think just. Jesus' sharp,
two-edged sword represents God's ultimate authority and judgment.

God's message regarding judgment: (1) Evil will certainly be punished;
(2) Those faithful to God have hope for a new future; (3) God is
sovereign in human history; (4) God's ultimate purpose is to
establish his eternal kingdom. With what's going on in the
world today we should be very careful how we treat others.
Any nation that mistreats people who obey God will be chastened.
We should always be vigilant and stand up for God's people.

God promises a final judgment, a day of world-wide destruction
( Revelation 20:12-15). To be spared from judgment, recognize
that you have sinned, that you and I unfortunately are sinners.
We must also reconcile that our sin will bring judgment, that we
cannot save ourselves, and that only the Father Himself can
save us. Please reconcile that we are not guaranteed five
minutes from now, so now is the time to settle where you will
spend eternity. Do you have a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ?

Until Next Time...

Jim
