" COMPLACENCY "

Hello, it's great to be with you today, how are you
doing? First thing I want to thank you for coming
aboard. I want you to know that you and yours are
in my prayers. It's vital that you know that you must
also do your part, continue to make time for the Lord
what I'm talking about is you seeking the face of God.
It's vital that we never become aloof from the Father.
I'm talking about complacency.

Complacency is self-satisfaction accompanied by
unawareness of the actual dangers or deficiencies.
Being unconcerned is a danger that we all may be
charged with. Are you the head of household who
comes home from a hard day at work, then blocks
everything around you out?

We should never be lackadaisical about our walk
with the Lord. Being disinterested in the things of
God may give you a boarding pass on the express
straight to hell. To all who sit back in their
unthinking complacency, enjoying the fruits of their
labor, monies, land, and other possessions must be
Christ-like, Jesus always showed compassion for
others. Wealth and luxury bring false security,
lulling us into thinking that all is well when a
catastrophe is around the corner. When we become
listless, forfeiting God's purpose for our lives, we also
abandon his inheritance.

Anyone who has called on the name of the Lord, has
the full assurance of victory and peace for those of us who
trust God. Now, if your moral and physical senses are
dulled, making them oblivious to sin, you're headed for
a fall. It's my prayer that your conscience beckons you to
stop before you go to far. It's essential that you wake up
from your complacency and admit your sins before it's too
late. Listen, our times of peace and prosperity can lull us to
sleep. We must never allow material abundance to hinder our
spiritual readiness. Get rid of your complacency, and realize
the danger of living apart from God. There is still time; anyone
who calls on God's name can be saved. Those of you who turn
to God will enjoy the blessings that he offers. If you're anything
like me, I enjoy hearing about what God is doing in your life
supernatural intervention causes us to become excited in the
things of God. Some people have become discouraged, and have
become complacent. Your complacency may gradually lead to
Balaton sin, Such as not living the Christian life style.

Until Next Time...

Jim
